After you have completed the online registration form and your project has been received, you will receive a user name and password to access your page here. On this page you will track your progress, post photos of your project taking shape, write blogs about your successes and challenges and share with Girl Scouts and others around the state how you are working to make Colorado Forever Green. Once your project is completed, the metrics you’ve input on this site can be used for your final submission to Girl Scouts of the USA at www.girlscouts.org/forevergreen.

Before you get started, you also will need to complete Step 1 at www.girlscouts.org/forevergreen to register your project on the national level.

Air Quality:


Creating no-idling zones, replacing toxic art supplies and cleansers, planting trees and adding indoor plants.
 

Waste Management:


Composting, recycling, implementing waste-free lunches, eliminating junk mail.
 

Water Conservation:


Installing rain barrels, monitoring local water bodies, installing low flow faucets and toilets.
 

Energy Conservation:


Turning off lights, unplugging electronics when not in use, changing to compact fluorescent light bulbs.
